Model overview
Executable model to run and modify it online

You can run and modify the model using the following Google Collab Notebook.

You will need a Google account to use Google Collab. Then you need to copy the notebook to your Google Drive (click on File -> Save a copy in Drive). Please follow the instructions in the Google Collab Notebook to run it. You can also download the notebook from Google Collab to run it locally, but it that case you need to have Julia and all packages used in the notebook.

Reconstruction parameters

Parameters were collected from the literature and databases (data sources are listed in the supplementary file 2 of the paper) and optimised as described in the paper. Units are consistent with the parameter/variable type and the role of those parameters in the equations. Vmax type of parameter is mM/s; Km, Ki, Kact are mM; membrane potentials are in mV; concentrations are in mM. Please refer to the rate equations in case of doubt regarding the parameter type.
