The Blue Brain Cell Atlas is a comprehensive online resource that describes the number, types, and
positions of cells in all areas of the mouse brain.
Here, we present an automated comparison between generated cell densities of the selected brain regions,
and their literature
counterparts. If you whish to see a reference included, please feel free to contribute.
Our workflow uses imaging data from the Allen Institute for
Brain Science (AIBS) to generate cell positions and assign their type,
more specifically from the mouse atlas
using the API for data
access.
Our workflow also uses global constraint numbers from literature, as well as a large array of additional
literature values to validate the model.
